Research and/or clinical interests

Dr. Scott Tykodi specializes in translating immunotherapy advances from the laboratory into the clinic. He has led numerous clinical trials evaluating novel, immune-based therapeutics for patients with kidney cancer and other solid tumors. Dr. Tykodi is developing a new cellular immunotherapy for kidney cancer aimed at a marker called 5T4, which is found on the surface of almost all kidney cancer cells and only rarely on healthy adult cells.
