Research and/or clinical interests 

Dr. Biernacki is a hematologist-oncologist who researches transplantation and immunotherapy for myeloid malignancies. Her research is not yet ready for use in the clinical setting, but it is at the forefront of new medical advances that could someday be applied to treat her patient population.  Dr. Biernacki enjoys researching complex disease mechanisms to gain an understanding of how science can be applied and translated into optimal patient care.
