Research and/or clinical career
Dr. Paul Weiden is known for his research in hematopoietic cell transplantation at Fred Hutch, and then radiolabeled monoclonal antibody and other clinical trials at Virginia Mason, publishing over 240 manuscripts in these fields. As a Clinical Professor of Medicine/Oncology at UW, he served as an Attending Physician on the Hematology and Oncology services at Harborview Medical Center for many years. Clinically, he treated patients with a broad variety of hematologic and solid tumor malignancies in Seattle and, beginning in 2001, as a Consulting Physician in Juneau, Alaska.
