research and/or clinical interests

Dr. Gregory del Zoppo is an expert in clinical hemostasis and thrombosis and in disorders of the central nervous system. He has substantially contributed to current treatment approaches of thrombotic stroke. He is particularly keen to work with patients who are very involved in their own care. His research interests include clinical studies of acute intervention in ischemic stroke; hemostasis problems associated with cerebral injury; and vascular and matrix adhesion biology of the central nervous system.
