Dr. Julie Gralow was the director of breast medical oncology at Fred Hutch and a renowned breast cancer researcher. She has received awards for leadership in health care, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology Humanitarian Award.

Along with treating patients at SCCA and leading clinical trials related to breast cancer treatment, prevention and survivorship, Dr. Julie Gralow founded several organizations dedicated to improving the lives of cancer patients and survivors. She directed Team Survivor Northwest, a Seattle-area exercise program for female cancer survivors, and Women’s Empowerment Cancer Advocacy Network (WE CAN), a global cancer advocacy organization focused on women’s cancers in the developing world.
