Research and/or clinical interests
Dr. Rachel Salit is a hematologist/oncologist who seeks ways to improve outcomes for patients undergoing stem cell transplant for myelofibrosis. Strategies have included pre-transplant ruxolitinib and optimizing alternative donor options. She also seeks to improve the quality of life of her patients by improving their return to work transition. She is developing support strategies to facilitate this stressful transition following cancer treatment.
